At fforest we celebrate the best of local and seasonal produce, either growing it ourselves or working with incredible suppliers here in West Wales. We even brew our own beer! From the moment you and your guests arrive to the day you say your goodbyes you are fully catered for.
We love cooking over fire and our specialities are wood smoked and barbecued meats, vegetables & fish.
Our pizzas, made by our pizzatipi team, make for the perfect arrival supper for you and your guests.
On your wedding day you have two meals included, one of which is a 2 course feast, served in our candle lit Cedar Barn. This will be the most traditional and celebratory meal of your wedding. Served on a beautifully laid table with linen napkins, perfect for food sharing and conviviality.
Throughout your wedding celebration you may wish to provide some special drinks. We work with you and your budget to find the perfect drink for those moments. From specially crafted cocktails to our very own brewed beer we have you covered.
We will work with you to blend three key ingedients: people, produce and place and make them sing and shine.

Arrival evening
Arrival pizza supper made from the classic ingredients supplied by the Pizzatipi, our very own pizza restaurant.
A choice of woodfired pizzas, seasonal soup & seasonal salad.
You could provide your guests with a welcome cocktail, wine or beer. Our fully stocked pub will be open for your guests to purchase drinks from the moment they arrive.
Wedding day

Homemade granola, fresh fruit, yoghurt, honey & jams. Along with bread, milk, welsh butter and local free range eggs, all sourced very locally. Served with freshly brewed tea, coffee and fruit juice.
Wedding Day Festival Lunch
We can barbecue, smoke or slow roast local meat, vegetables or fish which are served with yummy sides. We also offer a fforest picnic grazing table piled high with local favourites and homemade treats made in our kitchen. We serve these festival style so that your guests can take a plate of food and go back to the celebrations.
Offering your guests some wine and beer here is a nice touch.
Wedding Evening Feast
This will be the most traditional and celebratory meal of your wedding. Served on a beautifully laid table with linen napkins and candles. This feast-style meal is ideal for sharing and enjoying together, creating a warm atmosphere.
Allow us to show off our skills of cooking over fire.
We have a wonderful wine list for you to choose from to compliment your meal.
Sunday BBQ Brunch
Everyones feeling great but... a little fragile.
Saunter down to the lodge mid-morning to big mugs of coffee and tea and a spread of barbecued mushrooms, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, beans and fried eggs.
Vegan Weddings
Food is an important part of any wedding and getting the menu right for your wedding is a priority. We will work with you to create a menu that reflects your ethics and beliefs - moral, environmental and health-related - and a menu full of colour, freshness and delicious flavour combinations that will delight your vegan family and friends and astound your non-vegan guests with just how good vegan food can be.

The provenance of fforest food is very important to us and whatever menu you select, you can be sure each dish will feature the real tastes and textures of our favourite local ingredients.
Allergens
We want everyone to enjoy your special day so we will work with you to ensure that your menu suits you. We can cater for the 14 major allergens as published by the food standards agency.
