fforest Farm is the perfect location for a relaxed, informal, weekend-long celebration with family and friends. The 200 acres of fforest farm are part of an area of unspoilt natural beauty, wrapped in woods, wildlife and wonder. The farm is flanked on one side by the Teifi Marshes nature reserve and on the other, Cilgerran gorge, through which the magnificent river Teifi flows down to our local town of Cardigan and the Irish sea beyond.

fforest Farm has been created as a place to enjoy the simplicity, pleasures and beauty of outdoor living in an outstanding natural environment. With its private tiny stone pub, large communal firepit and secret woodland sauna, a choice of event spaces from giant hat tipis, garden pavilions and dining and party barns, fforest Farm is yours for the weekend.

VENUE CAPACITY

As the name suggests, fforest Farm is located at the heart of the ancient Cilgerran forest. For formal celebrations and dining you are restricted by the capacity of our venue spaces, but for a more relaxed celebration the possibilities are limitless.
In winter we can accommodate smaller weddings from 60-100 guests. In summer we host weddings for between 100 and 160. Our weddings are residential, with a minimum 2 night stay. As you have exclusive use of fforest Farm for the weekend, we will work with you to accommodate larger informal weddings taking full advantage of all the spaces available to you.

ACCOMMODATION

fforest Farm has a range of accommodation available: the luxury of the newly renovated Georgian farmhouse and split level crog lofts; beautifully furnished, romantic geodesic domes, cosy cabin style garden shacs and hill shacs.All with unrivalled views surrounded by nature. As you will be having exclusive access to the whole site for your wedding weekend, there is a requirement for your guests to book specific accommodation, dependent on the season, for a minimum of 2 nights.

All guest accommodation includes a relaxed wood-fired pizza party on arrival day or a warming supper in the cooler months, breakfast each morning and a big Welsh barbecue brunch the morning after your wedding.

FACILITIES

We have inside spaces, outside spaces, sheltered spaces. Large spaces, intimate spaces. Barns, tipis, lodge, farmhouse, garden pavilion, terraces, quarry, gardens, firepit, woodland. And the Bwthyn, our own tiny 200 year old pub (probably the best tiny 200 year old pub in the world!) Use some or all of our spaces. Work with us to plan your dream. Weekend weddings at fforest Farm are always exclusive use. You have our undivided attention throughout the weekend and the only guests on site have been personally invited by you.

CEREMONIES

We hold a civil ceremony licence for small intimate ceremonies in front of close family and friends in our Bwthyn pub. We will work with you to find the perfect location for your ceremony, including our giant hat tipi or ancient quarry which is perfect if you dream of an outdoor wedding. Ceremonies can also be held on fforest lawns, in the cedar barn and in the split level lodge barn if this can be co-ordinated with your dining arrangements.

DINING

The feast style services are held in the cedar barn at long tables accommodating up to 160 people in total. More casual food services can be held in and around the lodge area making the most of the weather.

EVENING RECEPTION guests

A limited number of evening only guests are welcome to join you at fforest Farm.

RECEPTION ONLY

We do have a requirement that you book the venue and all of the guest accommodation for a minimum 2 night stay. Most couples therefore find it convenient and relatively stress-free to organise all of their celebrations on site. However, if you wish to have your ceremony off-site we are happy to work with you to organise the perfect reception only weekend-long celebration.
