Booking

  1. Quote - If the sample quote suits you, please request a bespoke quote.

  2. Viewing starts with an online viewing from the comfort of your home (it’s good, don’t worry) then if you would like to view it in person we’ll arrange it.

  3. Booking is made by a deposit to secure the date of your choice.

  4. Payment is taken in 4 instalments starting 12 months from your date. The first 3 are equal, the last includes the final numbers and anything added above the base hire.

We can not hold dates, so recommend that you contact us as soon as possible if you have a particular date in mind. A wedding date is considered booked once we have received a 25% deposit (if booking more than 10 months in advance), with the deposit and any subsequent instalments being non-refundable.

Your wedding is paid for in 4 equal instalments(unless booking within 10 months of your wedding date) with a final payment due 6 weeks prior to your wedding. By this time all of the planning will be finalised, menus decided, guest lists confirmed and you can concentrate on the finer details leading up to the big day.

summer weddings

Weddings between May-September

Summer weddings at fforest are a celebration of the outdoors. Wherever you are at the farm, you’ll find yourself surrounded by picturesque views alive with colour. fforest is about outdoor living, so throughout your weekend you’ll be dining and sharing special moments in the heart of the natural beauty that fforest farm has to offer.

Minimum 100 / Maximum 160 people
Venue hire from £16,400

The main day

Our recommendation is to give your guests a leisurely morning to relax; they might decide to walk down to the river and take a dip. Then, a light lunch with the pub open works really well.

After a ceremony in the giant hat tipi, you can enjoy a drinks reception either on the lawns and terraces around the tipi, or in and around our vibrant fforest garden outside the cedar barn. Our big cedar barn is the perfect space for food, drink and making merry. After the speeches, we can re-organise the space to provide room for entertainment, dancing and seating. An optional festival-style late snack can be provided to fuel your guests through the evening of celebrations.

Alternatively, you may decide you’d like to return to the tipi after your feast meal in the cedar barn. The use of the giant hat tipi for entertainment, the lawns and terraces, y Bwthyn pub, the firepits and the lodge barn allows you to create a magical festival-like atmosphere. Late snacks can be served to you and your guests in lodge barn, or outside on one of the terraces.

April/October
Minimum 80 / Maximum 160 people

The main day

These relaxed weekends will be punctuated by many special moments and dining together in the light and warmth of the fire.

On the main day, our recommendation is to give your guests a leisurely morning to relax. They might decide to take a stroll to enjoy the fresh air and take in the quiet beauty of fforest, whether it’s the first buds of spring or the changing colours of the leaves in autumn. Then, a light lunch with the pub open works really well.

Ceremonies are best in the giant hat tipi in the early afternoon, allowing your guests the morning to relax. Drinks receptions follow in the lodge barn, then you and your guests can head up to the cedar barn where the fires and candles have been lit, and the tables laid for your feast meal. Feast here with guests until the evening comes, and we transform the cedar barn into the perfect venue for your evening reception. This generous and flexible space provides plenty of room for bands and dancing, as well as cosy and comfortable seats around the log burner. An optional festival-style late snack can be provided to fuel your guests through the evening of celebrations.
